I thought I would write to you to let you know how successful the event was. The number of riders and amount of money raised increased substantially over last years event and I am now arranging to present a cheque to the three charities for £4000. Additionally, those of you that indicated your wish to donate through Gift Aid will benefit the charities by another 25% of your sponsorship money.

The team are now looking at a future event. Some of the changes planned will be to divide the registration area to avoid congestion, to move the event date to the first Saturday after the Bank Holiday Monday, alter the horse course to include some open ground and to increase the number of charities who will benefit.
